International Society for Hepatic Encephalopathy and Nitrogen Metabolism

International Society on Hepatic Encephalopathy and Nitrogen Metabolism

Val-David, Canada September 14 -18, 2010

ISHEN is pleased to announce its 14th Symposium on the topic of Hepatic Encephalopathy and Nitrogen Metabolism. The Symposium will focus on basic and clinical research in hepatic encephalopathy and translation of novel findings from basic research to the clinic. The scientific programme will feature in-depth examination of the most essential topics and provide an opportunity for debate on key issues from principal experts in the field.

The ISHEN symposia are a highlight of HE research and one of the few opportunities for researchers in the key areas implicated (liver disease and neuroscience) to meet and discuss basic mechanisms in the context of clinical management. The ISHEN symposia have traditionally been located in Europe; the 14th ISHEN Symposium in Val David (Quebec) will be the first time the symposium is to be held in North America.

14th ISHEN Symposium has been granted CME credits by the Conseil québécois de développement professionnel des médecins (CQDPCM)
