Farzaneh Tamnanloo


Farzaneh Tamnanloo is a Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical science – experimental medicine at Université de Montréal.
After receiving her B.Sc. in Biology and M.Sc. in Cellular and Developmental biology at Kharazmi University in Tehran, Iran; she moved to Canada to continue her research.

Currently, she is performing her Ph.D. in the Hepato-Neuro laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Rose.
She is a fundamental researcher and had worked with several animal models of hepatic encephalopathy.
Her focus is on hepatic encephalopathy and its implications on neurodegeneration and neuronal injury.
